Start of the 2015 Field Camp Season

Mark Mathison, 6 ISU students, and I are heading out to the field station tomorrow morning, officially starting the 2015 field camp season! Our goal with this early group is to prepare for the arrival of the main group of students on May 24.
Priority #1: Landscaping. Now that the new buildings and additions to the Smith Lodge are complete, we can start converting the bare soil of the construction site into an attractive courtyard that will withstand the high foot traffic we expect each summer. This work, of course, would not have been possible without the support of our generous alumni and from Dr. Steven Leath, president of ISU. Stay tuned for updates and photos!
